Many runners have one leg that is shorter than the other leg. This can cause or aggravate pain anywhere in your toes, your foot, your leg, your hip, and your back and spine. It can do this because it increases the stress in those areas. Then again, it may not cause any problems. Dr. Weisenfeld says to not worry about it if it isn't causing problems.
